Park City

Voted as one of the best places to live and one of the friendliest towns in America!

Originally settled as a mining town in late 1800's, Park City almost was a ghost town in the 1950's when the price of silver fell dramatically.  The locals called "Parkites" had an idea for a ski resort and Treasure Mountain ski area opened in 1963.  Treasure Mountain became Park City Ski Area and in 1981, Deer Valley Resort opened.  After being center stage during the 2002 Winter Olympics, as the host town of the Sundance Film festival every January, and with the "Greatest snow on Earth!" Park City quickly has become a world class tourist destination.

Winter

We love big dumps!

Have you heard about the skiing in Park City?  When October and November roll around, you will see the locals starting to get giddy about the winter around the corner...the more snow, the better!

Summer

Those long sunny days though!

Have you ever heard a local say they came for the winter but stayed because of the summers?  The summers are short, but boy are they sweet!  The sun rises around 5:45 and it stays light till well past 9!  That's a lot of daylight to bike, hike, golf, fish or do whatever!
